1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as scripts and local storage, may also be used to operate the website, to remember your choices and, with your consent, to enable third-party services.
2. Who uses the cookies
seaworld.gr is operated by Κ. Μαυροχωρίδης – Α. Γλαρούδης Ο.Ε. (Greek General Partnership), trading as Sea World Scuba Diving Center / Kentro Katadyseon Thalassios Kosmos, with registered address at Sani Kassandreias 0, 63077 Kassandreia, Halkidiki, Greece, VAT No. 084149935, competent tax office Nea Moudania and G.E.MI. No. 032111357000. For cookie or privacy questions, contact info@seaworld.gr.
3. Cookie categories
- Necessary: required for basic operation, security and consent management. They cannot be switched off through the consent tool. This includes the
seaworld_consentcookie, which stores your choice for 180 days. - Optional – Interactive map: the map of our centers on the home page loads its background from Esri (ArcGIS Online). It stays inactive until you give your consent.
We do not use statistics, web analytics or advertising cookies.
4. Third-party content and services
The only third-party service embedded in the website is the map background from Esri (ArcGIS Online), used by the interactive map on the home page. It is blocked until you give the relevant consent; once you enable it, Esri receives technical data such as your IP address and applies its own privacy policy. Links to Google Maps, social networks or the websites of other centers are plain links and do not load third-party content inside the page.
5. Consent and changing your choices
On your first visit the consent tool is displayed. You can accept, reject, or choose which optional categories to allow. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time.
6. Retention period
The seaworld_consent cookie is kept for 180 days, whether you accept or reject the optional services, so that you are not asked again on every page view. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
7. Browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect the correct operation of parts of the website.
8. Personal data and your rights
Where these technologies involve the processing of personal data, the rights and information described in our Privacy Policy apply.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when technologies, third-party services or legal requirements change. The version in force will remain available on this page.
